Royal King Biking

On our “Royal King” ride heading toward our favorite Italian place called “Kings Pizza in Brunswick. Real lovely afternoon riding on rt 340 and then backroad to Kings pizza

February 76 degree

What a great day. Temp rising from low 30’s to 76 by early afternoon today! Awesome ride!

EDB bike day

Sunday, October 23rd – Eric hosted this great all day bike trip to Lancaster county area. He originally schedule Saturday with Sunday as rain date. If weather was not too windy on Saturday, I would have missed his great trip  therefore am thankful for strong gust wind on Saturday! 

Anyhow as I get ready to meet up with group at Starbucks in Mt Airy

A short ride away

7 of us altogether. All set to start the day!

A short quick stop enroutesecond page all good to go!ready for our lunch at one of those Amish restaurant just before we enter the restaurantnice hehconverted Amish biker!now our table r readyeating!then comes our dessert that Lindy purchased for us to sample. How sweet of her!called shoo fly pie. Could’ve eaten the whole thing however that ll way exceed recommended sugar intake for the whole day for everyone really!!!that s the place! I gave it 2 star vote 😢   Off we go for a short bike ride to see caboose accommodation. Very interesting debating whether we oughta head a bit north to the famous soft pretzel place or head home. Two didn’t want to join us so we bid them farewellafter they departed we realize that the pretzel place is closed on Sunday’s 

Decide to head back home

Decided to stick w back road heading back home – almost 11 hour day trip and a total of 250 miles. Kudos to our road captain, Eric Mansfield for a well planned day bike trip! We all had a great time!

Saturday – Shenandoah River

Going by the most frequent sweet ride – Harper’s Ferry plus Shenandoah River ride. Taking  Jerry, husband of my mother outlaw😉

Saturday morning – spectacular sky! Gonna be a great ride!

Great Father & Son bike day

Quite hot -90 degree yet off we go!

Doing some serious back road to this South Mountain Creamery for some ice cream 
Saw a rally of Mini Cooper coming by for some ice cream


Then on we go to a tower an then Gathland



Glad to have my son riding w me! He wanted home after Gathland. No more riding 😪. Fun although!

Father’s Day morning ride

Taking my son out on my motorcycle to Royaliciois Bagel n Bakery then some ride by the Shenandoah River. Very nice morning while Marika at JFK heading out to Israel and Karita at Venice Beach at the moment

Talking via FaceTime with my dearest  Daughter, Marika while she s st JFK inside her EL AL 747 plane 
Have yet to FaceTime with my other daughter, Karita. Am sure we ll do that later today!

Biking for one purpose – Herwig’s Austrian Bistro!

Getting ready to go. – get gas then on to Schifferstadt building – to meet with Tom Korn – biker buddy for the day! 7:30am all  set to go

Ran out of gas heh. Luckily gas station was about two miles down the hill. 

Off we continue 


After Tom got his bike filled up with a gal of gas. Off he went down the hill to fill up his bike while I wait at the mountaintop stop n vp with my mother

Then a short biking northbound 

After a good swim n drying in the sun. Off we continue northward toward State College. 1 hour and 50 min to go

We have arrived!! Our ultimate destination!

That s the owner of restaurant (and his parents too I think?). He remember us from our first trip up. Today was my 2nd time! 
That was our next stop. Highest rating. Student made ice cream on Penn State University campus

Then to a pub for a drink. To my surprise they allow smoking inside so smoked a cigar while drinking beer
14 1/2 hours and 315 miles of awesome riding on an awesome day with an awesome lunch too!

Then latte with ice cream to wrap up an awesome day!  Thank you Tom for coming along! It was fun!

Saturday, June 11 – an afternoon bike!

Sean emailed n asked if any chance for a last minute ride –  could do so for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Off we met n ride some heading toward River area then on to Larry n Nancy Reedy’s son event. The. Off home I went. Weather wise – quite hot yet enjoyed the ride!

Unfortunately I didn’t get a pic of his family w his son😪


A total of 2 hour and 40 min – including the stops and visit! Thank you Sean for the last minute ride!
