cherish quality time w Marika before she goes to College!

Early Monday morning the 17th of August. — heading toward Columbia for “Welcome back” gathering

3 of us met at Exxon here at Spring Ridge then off we go via backroad toward MSD-Columbia campus for our morning whole campus meeting!

August 15th early evening ride! 
  

With my darlingest wife – off we go, our first stop –  Hanover, Pa to visit the

 

It was an interesting experience for us to watch as to how potato chips r being made!

Then a short bike eastbound – on to Harley-Davidson Manufacturing Plant in York, Pa

 waiting for group tour inside the Harley plant

Then afterwards – getting ready to head eastward! 

A short ride later –

A true Turkey Hill experience for us. Nah we didn’t want to go on a tour cuz we were already starved n wanting a good early dinner so on we go to Lancaster, Pa

However we made one stop beforehand to see

Built in 1790 – interesting! then eastbound once again!

  

Then on to

A true Amish restaurant

  
Delicious!

Then here s our dessert. Home made peach pie for my wife and cherry pie for me

Afterwards a short ride through Intercourse, Pa to view Amish people and their horse drawn carriage

Doing a short early morning ride down to Chincoteague Island National Park with my darlingest Wife!

It was a great ride this morning – quite hot yet interesting. Flatland – corns – potatoes and the smell of bay!

First segment  Ocean City to Snow Hill to take a look at the Poconomoke River that run alongside 
    

  
Storm came and went by

And then we continue SouthWestward

Toward Janes Island State Park 

And then a short stop……

For a quick local brew beer and fries – wanting to rush back before heavy storm headin our way

 It was a great biking time with Gordon – thank you Gordon!

And – what did we see. 

And then another much bigger one on the coastal highway –   Hope no vehicle hit those turtles even tho there s a large sign warning about turtle crossing for 3 miles here in this area

early this morning – heading southward. Exploring neighbor towns.  

  heading toward meecersberg pa to watch Karita – IPSL track field championship then she rode back w me. Back road.

Not too bad. Definitely not 4.5. Prob 3.0-3.3

Such a beautiful day n perfect time to enjoy biking n watching Karita participate in her track/field event

At Little Black Hill State Park. Unable to stay there due to large event taking place. 

Relocated to Bennett state park

Nice place to have a meeting then a lunch n short game/activities. Fun!
